Operation Christmas Child delivers millions of shoeboxes to children in need around the world along with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We were blessed to again participate this year. Thank you to everyone who donated!
We were delighted to host a Thanksgiving breakfast for the Goodwill Christian Preschool Pre-K class and their families. After plenty of pancakes there was lots of laughter with their interactive Thanksgiving story and Cornucopia game.
What a joy it was to celebrate the confirmation of 8 youths at Goodwill on Sunday as they publicly affirmed their faith in Jesus and joined the United Methodist Church family. May this new chapter bring many blessings and may their faith continue to flourish.
On September 28th we celebrated 193 years of worship at Goodwill! After a special service, with guest speaker Howard Moss from the Twin Valley Food Pantry, we enjoyed a picnic style lunch. After celebrating all of their accomplishments this year and their move up to pre-K, we hosted an ice cream sundae bar for the Goodwill Christian Preschool class!
